====== ProDOS 2.4.1 Fixes for Apple //e Card ====== The release of [[http://www.callapple.org/vintage-apple-computers/apple-ii/announcing-prodos-2-4-2-for-all-apple-ii-computers/|ProDOS 2.4.2]] includes the fixes listed below. Bitsy Bye as shipped with ProDOS 8 2.4.1 has some bugs related to the Apple %%//%%e Card for Macintosh LC. I came up with fixes with the help of John Brooks and produced a fixed version that addresses the following issues: * Bitsy Bye [[mg_notes:iie_card:problem_software|crashes the machine]] because it accidentally accesses $C029 when it is not supposed to. The access is meant to turn off super hires graphics on the IIgs, and is harmless on all of the other models except the %%//%%e Card. In the case of the %%//%%e Card, it switches in an extra firmware bank and crashes when Bitsy Bye tries to use a ROM routine that is no longer there. * Bitsy Bye fails to work properly when AppleTalk is installed in the %%//%%e Card environment due to putting a ProDOS parameter block in the zero page above $7F.
